The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power novel Chapter 625

As Xaria wanted to draw herself closer to Kingsley to win him over, she jumped at the chance when he asked her out for a meal. "Of course, I'm free. How can I turn down your invitation when you made time to help me out despite your busy schedule?"

Just then, Blake trotted over. "Dr. Nicholson, please wait a minute!"

Kingsley came to a stop. "What's the matter, Mr. Hemsworth?"

Blake stopped right in front of him. "Dr. Nicholson, I-I would like to buy you dinner to ask you about the lost needling technique—"

"Mr. Hemsworth, I suggest that you'd better take care of your internal affairs before asking me that." Kingsley swept his eyes over Patrick who was standing behind Blake. "If the student that you're most proud of is… Well, subpar at best. I think it would be a waste of our time if we were to discuss anything."

Blood drained from Blake's face at his statement, but he understood what Kingsley meant—Patrick had to be punished harshly, or else, he could forget about Kingsley taking him as his student.

So, he swiveled his head and shot a ferocious glare at Patrick. Then, he said politely to Kingsley, "I understand, Dr. Nicholson. I'll expel him as soon as I get back and revoke all his medical qualifications so that he can forget about building his career in the traditional medicine field."

The news struck Patrick like thunder. Blood still clung to the edges of his lips and his face had turned pallid. This time, his future was completely ruined, but before he could even start pleading for mercy, Kingsley waved his hand and left with Xaria.

After they departed from the Kean Residence, they found a cozy little coffee shop and took a seat inside. Xaria, who was seated across from Kingsley, propped her chin on her palms. "Dr. Nicholson, I have never imagined that you would possess such amazing medical skills at this age. But… how did you learn about those lost ancient healing?"

Kingsley fixed his eyes on her. "I learned it by chance."

He wanted to find out some clues from her expression but couldn't see anything unusual. Curiosity was the only emotion he could read from her face.
