The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power novel Chapter 630

Those spies just want to do damage in Qustia through that so-called academic forum, Kingsley concluded. Even though he still didn't exactly know what scheme they were planning, he was satisfied to obtain this information. Finally, he didn't have to search around aimlessly like a headless chicken anymore.

Nonetheless, now that he knew that Andrew couldn't provide him with more useful information with further interrogation, Kingsley rose to his feet. "Young Master Andrew, that's all for today. Go home and rest. When I have questions for you again, we'll—"

He couldn't even finish his sentence when he heard a surprise gasp close to him. "What are you doing here, Kingsley?" Reene paced to them with a cup of coffee in her hand along with those words.

"R-Reene?" Kingsley's eyelids twitched. Earlier, he was so engrossed in the spies that he hadn't even noticed when Reene had walked into the cafe.

Reene said with a smile, "There's quite a crowd today. I wouldn't have seen you if you hadn't stood up." When she caught sight of Andrew seated across from him, she couldn't help but ask doubtfully, "Is this… your friend?"

Andrew tightened the scarf around himself and uttered awkwardly, "Yes, we're friends…"

No wonder Dr. Nicholson wanted to give Opulence Co. to President Wynn yesterday, he thought as the realization hit him like a sledgehammer. It's because they know each other! Then, he secretly decided to let his father know about this when he got home later so that he would pay more attention and foster a better relationship with the Neveah Department Store.

At the same time, he was uneasy because he was once her blind date. Although it was an unsuccessful story, he didn't want her to see him in such a sorry state.

On the other hand, Kingsley breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Andrew had covered his face properly. Otherwise, Reene would definitely link the transfer of Opulence Co. to him if she had caught him having coffee with Andrew.

Curiosity crept over Reene's face at Andrew's odd attire. It's such a warm day. Isn't he worried that he'll catch a heatstroke by wrapping himself like this?

As Andrew was worried that he would embarrass himself in Reene's presence, he shot a nervous glance at Kingsley. "Well, then… Dr. Nicholson, I'm going now if there's nothing else."

"Okay, see you." As Kingsley didn't want to court extra trouble, he nodded agreeably. "Also, don't even breathe a word about our conversation today."

"Don't worry!" Andrew promised, bobbing his head. "Grandpa told me to listen to everything you say. I don't have the guts to go against him. I swear that I won't even speak about it in my dreams. So, don't worry!"

So, he got up from his chair anxiously and desperately wanted to book it before he was caught by any acquaintances. Alas, just as he was about to leave, a young man dressed in high fashion brands inquired tentatively, "Andrew Kean? Is that you?"

Andrew froze on the spot. Wasn't this one of his many friends from his social circle, Wesley?

Wesley approached him and sized him up curiously. "Damn, are you going to a costume party?"

Andrew scowled as he hissed through gritted teeth, "I f*cking covered my face so well and you can still recognize me?!"

"That goes without saying!" While Andrew was unaware, Wesley yanked the scarf off his head. "I was with you when you bought this. Did you forget that—" He trailed off mid-sentence the moment he saw Andrew's face. "What the f*ck happened to you? Who? Who did this to you?!"

Andrew could feel the veins in his temples on the verge of bursting as he furiously pointed at the entrance of the cafe. "Get lost! If you don't wish for a beating, then get the f*ck away now!"
