Lightning struck, the wind blows, and the trees swayed left and right. Two wolves were seen running alongside each other in the woods.

Running toward a cave to seek shelter. It was known that, when the lightning kept striking and the wind kept blowing, it was going to rain heavily.

They jumped the wood trunks that fell on their way and arrived at the cave which was quite dark.

" Are you hurt?" The raven wolf asked with concern in her voice.

" Not really " the white wolf who turned out to be a woman answered.

" Great! Let's shift" she told her and closed her eyes. They heard both of their bones cracking and when they opened their eyes, they were both squatting nakedly.

" Turn around " Elizabeth screamed and covered her boobs with her hands.

" is that necessary? Aren't you my best friend?" Mariam asked with her brows raised.

" And so?" Elizabeth replied with a question. She went into the cave and put on her clothes. Came out and threw Mariam's clothes at her.

" change into them and stop being shameless," She told her and walked to the cave opening.

The sky started crying, and the smell of earth and leaves filled her nostrils. She closed her eyes to enjoy the relaxing sound of the rain and the earthly scents.

She felt a warm arm wrapped around her waist and she knew it was Mariam. She's as clingy as a cat. She pushed her head back and allowed her to put her head on her shoulders.

" Enjoying the calmness?" she asked.

" yea," she said lazily.

" Is there something on your mind?" Mariam asked and unwrapped her arms from Eliz's waist.

She held her hand and lead her back into the cave before sitting her down on a rock.

" It's Xander" Elizabeth mumbled but Mariam heard her correctly.

" you're still crushing on him right?" Mariam asked and rolled her eyes at Eliz.

" yes, you know I've had a crush on him for a very long time," Eliz said and Mariam nod her head.

" but he doesn't even glance at you "Mariam reminded her of how Xander never show any interest in her.

" I understand that he is the son of the alpha and I'm an orphan so it's normal that he never showed interest in me but that doesn't mean I will stop crushing on him," Eliz said and threw a stone outside the cave.

" How about this, Xander will be crowned an Alpha tomorrow, why don't you just use the opportunity to do one or two things to him?" Mariam suggested and Eliz bumped her shoulder with her fist.

Walking into the packs boutique, Eliz went to the gown section and picked a strapless gown from the hanger. She tested it, paid for it, and walked out of the boutique.

"Xander, I'm prepared for you," She said with a grin on her face before walking away.
