Yvan and the medical staff searched for a full fifteen minutes before finally catching her trail through the security footage.

Finally, people saw Matilda standing in the corner of the morgue, next to where Gideon lay. She was talking non–stop, tears streaming down her face as she spoke. 

Yvan approached her and heard her apologizing.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t bring Logan home.”
