Carl trailed behind him, "I'm just concerned about you going abroad alone."
Given Yvan's stature, if a competitor abroad decided to threaten his safety, they would be too far to react or protect him effectively.
"It'll be fine, someone will meet me there," Yvan glanced back at Carl. "Besides, there's a summit in three days I need to attend."
Carl thought to himself, didn't you decline that summit invitation last month? Why the sudden change of heart...
Yvan didn't respond, proceeding to check in by himself. Before, others would have taken care of all these details for him. Now, seeing Yvan handling everything solo, with such humility and discretion, Carl sighed internally.
