Meanwhile, in the office of the Boyd Group.
Carl walked in, a report in hand. "Mr. Boyd, the young master took an IQ test at school recently."
An IQ test?
Yvan raised an eyebrow, "I always knew the little guy was sharp."
"Indeed." Carl handed the report to Yvan. "The young master passed the high school level test, so he started high school today."
"Oh?" A flicker of surprise crossed Yvan's eyes, followed by a smug remark, "That just proves I've got good genes."
Carl was left speechless by Yvan's vanity, struggling for words before finally managing, "His... intelligence development... probably has... nothing to do with you."
Rebellion, rebellion! His assistant was rebelling!
Yvan slammed his hand on the desk, "Are you implying I only contributed a sperm?"
Carl, undaunted, countered, "What else? You've never been involved in raising him."
Yvan sank back into his chair, his expression blank for a moment.
Carl realized he might have struck a nerve in the pride of a man who had lost his memory and was overly devoted to his wife.
"I don't care." Yvan broke the silence, "Find out which prestigious school he enrolled in today."
Carl looked up, "You're going there?"
Yvan adjusted his tie, the gesture exuding a wild and effortless charm. With a smirk, he declared, "Of course. Prepare the car! I'm going to show support for my son!"
Carl watched Yvan, thinking about how many important meetings were going to be missed today.
"But today... Kurt and the other shareholders wanted to discuss something important with you."
Yvan didn't even look up, his tone both lazy and indifferent, "Let them wait."
