Donna was fuming, her words choked by rage after Logan's sharp comments. Finally, she snapped back, "Your dad's single! How am I the other woman? Did I wreck your family or something?"
Yvan's expression darkened dramatically, and it was he who yelled, "Enough!"
Donna jumped, startled. "Yvan, you…"
Yvan was thinking about how Rachel Archer was still a problem he hadn't dealt with, and now Donna popped up out of nowhere.
"He's indeed my son." Yvan stepped forward, positioning himself beside Logan, then turned to Donna. "So, retract those rude comments of yours."
Donna bit her lower lip, looking deeply wronged. "I didn't know at the start…"
"There was no need to." Logan shrugged off Yvan's hand, a sarcastic smile playing on his lips as he looked at Yvan. "Having a dad like you is quite the headache, you know."
Yvan snapped back to reality, feeling a sting in his heart from his son's words. However, Logan quickly exchanged brief greetings with Carl and Yvan, then turned and walked away.
He must have come to chat, seeing me here… But then he saw Donna and just left.
Back at the studio, Logan was still seething. Matilda had just finished a long photo shoot and came over to grab a drink when she noticed Logan, cheeks puffed out in anger, obviously having had a conflict with someone.
"What's up?"
She asked instinctively.
"I must be blind!" Logan spat out bitterly.
Matilda choked on her water, then laughed. "Why such harsh words at your age? Did someone rub you the wrong way today?"
"Yes." Logan started to say it was Yvan, but paused seeing Matilda's expression, then softened his voice, "I just… I guess I was wrong about someone."
