Cyprian raised an appreciative eyebrow at Matilda's words, clearly impressed. "I never pegged you for being quite so formidable."
Without responding, Cyprian signaled for the apprehended robber, now bound tightly with ropes, to be taken away. The criminal, upon seeing Cyprian, seemed almost relieved, thinking if they had remained in that woman's clutches a moment longer, their fate might have been far worse...
Sensing a watchful gaze from the shadows, Cyprian's sharp eyes flickered with alertness before the presence abruptly vanished.
"Seems like someone's got a knack for counter-surveillance," Cyprian mused, tugging at his thin lips. His arrival had turned the local diner into a buzzing hive of excitement. People started discreetly snapping pictures with their phones, "Wow, it's really Cyprian!"
"City Light! The people's protector!"
"I can't believe he's right here..."
The waitstaff felt like they'd hit the jackpot, having not only encountered Cyprian but also witnessed a woman with such agility, straight out of a TV drama!
Eventually, Cyprian had his team load the robber into a car. Matilda approached to bid him farewell, and they stepped outside the diner for a brief chat.
"Thanks for stepping in today. How can we show our gratitude? Maybe send a hero's banner to your home?" Cyprian joked, offering his hand.
Matilda laughed off the idea of a banner, "I prefer to keep a low profile."
Asuka clapped from the side, "Matilda, you've shown us all a different side today."
Turning, Matilda asked, "What brings you here, anyway?"
