Forced Marriage To The Secret Billionaire novel Chapter 61

AUTHOR’S POV

“ I can and trust me…I will, Dear Wife. ” Silas’s hold over Sara’s wrist tightened as he proclaimed.

“ I am leaving. ” Sara pried his hand off and glared at him.

Deep down, she had a hunch that she committed a mistake coming here. It was the Lion’s den and it would be impossible to leave from here if Silas didn’t let her go.

“ Try leaving then. ” Silas challenged, their egos finally clashing.

“ So you will do this to me now? ” Sara spoke, hurtfully.

“ I have to do this. You are acting like a three year old for God’s sake! It’s marriage. It’s not some dollhouse play where you can leave everything halfway so easily. ” Silas pushed his hair back, his head beginning to hurt due to the stress Sara was causing him.

“ First, we will talk it out. If I can’t convince you to forgive me then we will move to the second option. ” Silas stepped forth, pushing his hand forward and grabbing her right one softly.

She didn’t stop him. She just gazed in his light brown orbs, still on her spot.

“ Which is? ” She inquired in a grim tone.

“ We will talk after some time again. ” Silas grinned all of sudden.

Sara sighed out, rolling her eyes at him. She hadn’t seem someone so irritating in her whole life.

He was just so serious and now he was grinning like everything was perfect between them.

“ Silas. I don’t want to talk. I made my decision. You should respect it. ” Sara insisted, her eyebrows pulling together in an annoyed frown.

“ You can’t make such decisions alone. There are two of us in this marriage. We will make all decisions together and you Sara…You will do well to respect it. Ask me anything – Anything except for this foolish divorce thing. ” Silas pulled her closer, knowing well she couldn’t resist him for long if he was closer than the safe distance.

Anything to make her stay.

Sara blinked and inhaled deeply.

“ I only want divorce. ” She asserted, her own demand sounding absurd this time.

Silas pursed his lips, her nonsense talk infuriating him. No one had ever gotten on his nerves like she did because she had the privilege.

“ And I only want you. ” He shot back and pulled her even more closer making her stumble forward, her body colliding with his hard frame.

“ You ruled out the first option so we will have to do with the second option. ” He sighed and leaned in to peck her lips but she turned her head away causing his lips to land over her cheek.

Something was better than nothing. Silas thought and pressed a lingering kiss on her cheek before leaning away.

“ We will talk after some time. ” He smiled after seeing her cheeks turning red.

“ I am leaving. ” Sara repeated the same thing and stepped away from him.

She stormed out of the room and climbed down the stairs. She knew she was trapped here and she was not planning to walk to the main door at all. She just had to be away from him.

Like she thought, getting rid of Alexanders was not easy, but she had to think of a way to get rid of them. She was done with all these people of power…Their lies, deceptions, betrayals knew no limits.

She was tired of it all.

Sara just wanted to leave everything behind and start a new life, a normal one.

A life where she would be a ordinary woman working hard to make a living by honest means and a life where there will be only Sara and the new life.

She couldn’t trust Silas anymore to not lie. If he did deceive her again or if he got rid of her because she was not that same Sara Lexington anymore, he would keep the baby too.

She couldn’t bring herself to let it happen.

She was thinking foolish just as Silas said, she knew this but she couldn’t help but feel insecure. Perhaps, she had to think about the new life too and her mind was messed up because of this.

Should she just tell Silas about her pregnancy? He wouldn’t make her suffer like her father made her mother and her suffer, right?

There was a lot of thinking to do. Sara was trying to make an effortless decision. She didn’t have it in herself to struggle any longer.

“ You two talked? ” Grandfather Albert’s voice pulled her out of her never ending thoughts and Sara finally took notice of where she had ended up.
