AUTHOR’S POV
“ Where is she? ” Silas asked Jake just as he picked up his call.
Early in the morning, he left her home after giving her the card and it’s already 8 in the night but she hadn’t returned home.
“ Shopping, Sir. ” Jake replied, grimly.
“ Did she buy something? ” Silas loosened his tie and unbuttoned his top buttons after putting the phone on speaker and placed it down on the dressing table.
“ We just got here. ” Jake sighed out, making Silas’s hands pause.
“ Where was she since the morning? ” Silas felt dumbfounded.
Suddenly, his phone dinged and he picked it up from the table to see the message. It was a withdrawal of 10,000,000.
Silas stared at message as he heard what Jake was saying. “ After withdrawing money from the card, she donated it all. She gave me the card after that and now Ma’am is finally in the mall. ”
“ Okay. Don’t lose sight of her. ” Silas breathed deeply and hanged up the call.
So this was her plan? He rubbed his temples, wondering what else she planned on doing.

Sara hummed as she looked at the shopping bags again. It was enough for now, she nodded her head to herself and sat down on the backseat of the car. Jake came and sat on the passenger seat, before turning his head to look at her.
“ Home, Ma’am? ” He asked just in case because it was already 12 in the night and she seemed like she was not even tired.
Home… The word echoed in her mind, making her sigh.
“ No. Just drive. ” Sara let out and relaxed back in the seat.
She had been thinking about Lexington family for the whole day. How were they doing?
There was no one to help them and Grandfather Magnus was sick. Was this her blood calling out to her and making her feel worried for them? It was frustrating but she couldn’t help it.
She was worried or perhaps, a little curious. That’s all.
Jake looked away from her and began typing a message to Silas who was waiting for her at home.
‘ Ma’am is still not coming home, Sir. ’ He typed.
The driver pulled the car out of the mall’s parking and on the road with no clear destination in mind.
Eventually, they ended up on the hill opposite Lexington Villa. Sara stepped out of the car and looked at the view. She could see the Villa clearly from here.
Curiosity got the best of her, maybe, but she needed to see them.
That family was cruel, she knew. She thought it would be easy hurting them the same way they did to her but now she was…Sad.
But, she was not going to help them. They did this to themselves.
Shaking her head, she didn’t know how long she stood there staring at the brightly lit Lexington Villa in the distance.
Her thoughts jumped from one place to another in mere moments.
From Lexingtons to Alexanders, she thought about them all.
She was not that angry at Silas now. She was just sulking and she didn’t want him to think that earning forgiveness from her was easy or he was going to do the same mistakes in the future.
Just a little more punishment time and she might find it in herself to forgive him.
Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t realize someone was standing behind her, staring her down.
As she refused to come home, he had to come get her or she could just decide to roam the roads for the whole night.
Who knew what Sara Alexander could do for sure, anyway.
