His Charming Smile novel Chapter 5

Daphne frowned slightly and said in a nonchalant manner, "He's so-so."

She had looked at Harry’ s extremely handsome face for seven years since she was 16, so she was no longer easily smitten by handsome men.

Nonetheless, she did find Raphael goodlooking when she took a quick glance at him. His looks were on par with Harry's.

However, he was not as good-tempered as Harry.

It was especially infuriating when he arrogantly said that he wanted them to lose their jobs if anything happened to the patient.

"With his average looks, who is he to order us around arrogantly? Is his an emperor? Humph!" Daphne said angrily.

Raphael, who happened to be outside the ward, stopped immediately when he heard her words.

He instantly frowned. After standing still for a while, he suddenly turned around.

"Kenneth, I'll leave it to you."

Kenneth Ausley, who was right behind him, watched as his boss left before turning around to look at the ward. Deep inside, he silently cursed Daphne.

"Who was this Dr. Goodwin? She has managed to piss off Raphael twice in half a day," Kenneth thought.

"That’s amazing!" thought Kenneth.

She seemed to have also commented that Raphael's looks were run-of-the-mill.

D*mn, how could anyone describe the president's looks with "average"?

Kenneth wondered if Dr. Goodwin was blind or, perhaps, so good- looking that she had outshone Raphael.

Kenneth silenced his thoughts and knocked on the door before walking in.

He had to see for himself if she was betterlooking than his president.

"Dr. Goodwin, this is a small token of appreciation from the president to thank you for donating your blood," Kenneth said respectfully.

Daphne had just hung up a call from her mother, who was urging her to meet her date. She had bent down to put on her shoes when Kenneth came in.
