Third Person’s POV 
Geoffrey and Chadwick were dead tired after cooking breakfast for everyone. Their eyes sulked like zombies and so, both went inside to take a rest and sleep. 
When everyone finished their meal, Adira volunteered to wash the dishes. She cannot dare break her promise after seeing Chadwick and Geoffrey’s tiring expression. She isn’t that evil at all. 
‘Besides, this is a good way to create an image,’ Adira said to herself while washing the dishes. 
The employees and staff stopped her from washing the dishes alone, but Adira insisted. With this, they will probably think that Adira is in a good mood, and she’s not affected at the incident last night. 
“Woah. Ma’am Adira is so kind. Isn’t she?” one of the female employees commented while watching Adira working in front of the sink. 
“I can’t believe that a boss like her will dare wash the dish by herself. Isn’t she just amazing?” 
“Crimson Meadow is so lucky to have a humble boss like her. She’s full package.” 
“Pretty, talented, rich, and sexy. Gosh. I wish I could be her.” 
Adira’s ears turned bigger as she heard the praises around. She is usually a person who does not fond of hearing praises, though. 
“Hey, but did you hear what happened last night?” 
“When Sir Chadwick saved another woman and then left ma’am Adira?” 
When Adira heard the next topic of their conversation, the corner of her lips drooped. 
“The woman said that miss Hansel pushed her in the pool. Ma’am Adira tried to save her but failed. And so, Sir Chadwick dived in. He left his wife alone in the pool and saved the woman.” 
“That woman who served drinks to us last night and introduced herself as ma’am and sir’ friend?” 
“Yeah. Actually, I don’t believe that miss Hansel pushed her.” 
“Me too. I once worked with miss Hansel and she’s very strict and professional. I don’t think she will push that woman without reason.” 
“What if that woman jumped by herself? She looks like attention seeker to me.” 
“Agree. Look at the way she went to ma’am and sir’s table last night. A mistress who is brave to show herself with that fake smile. Argh. I hated that kind of b*tch.” 
“Why are you hating that woman alone? Isn’t Sir Chadwick should hold accountable? He left ma’am Adira in the pool alone. And when ma’am Adira drowned, another man saved her.” 
“Another man? Was it the pretty guy who cooked breakfast for us? I heard he’s the son of the owner of this beach.” 
“Yes. He dived in the pool last night to save ma’am Adira.” 
“Woah. He looks so cool.” 
Adira, who pretended that she did not hear a thing, looked back at the direction where she heard the employee’s murmurs. When the employees caught her staring in their direction, they stopped talking and drink their juices instead. 
Adira’s eyes stayed at the place. It is not to warn them, but to look at Isa, who was standing near the table. Probably, Isa heard all the murmurs a while ago. 
‘That’s why you are an idiot for letting Nocturne use you,’ Adira said inwardly while staring at Isa. 
Isa stopped trembling and removed the tension in her jaw. When the women saw Isa standing beside them, their face lost colors. They got shocked that they are talking ill beside the person. 
As if nothing happened, Isa smiled at them and even gave a cheerful greeting. 
“Good morning!”
The employees replied to her with only awkward smiles. They watched Isa walked shamelessly inside the cottage and towards the kitchen. They cannot believe how gullible she is to approach Adira in front of everyone. 
“Good morning, Adira,” Isa greeted Adira.
Wearing apron and with sponge on her hand, Adira replied, “Good morning, Isa.” 
“You’re washing the dishes alone?” Isa asked. “Woah~” she gasped and clapped her hands. “You are really kind and amazing.” 
The girls, who saw how Isa acts, rolled their eyes in disbelief. 
If Adira has one emotion towards Isa, then it is pity. She pitied her for trying to act cool and unaffected in this situation. 
“Then, as your friend, I will help our kind Adira,” Isa added before she also wore apron and stood beside Adira in front of the sink. 
“What are you doing?” Adira whispered. 
“Helping you,” Isa replied. “You look pathetic while cleaning the dishes alone and acting to be a kind boss.” 
“I think you came here so you can make yourself look like an angel,” Adira said, rubbing a plate with a sponge. “Or an idiot.” 
“Huh,” Isa snorted. She grabbed another sponge and started rubbing and wiping a dirty plate. “Let them say what they want. In the end, the person who will end up pitiful is you, Adira. A wife who was abandoned by her husband.”
“...” 
“Last night’s incident showed it all. That no matter what happened, even when you were brink of death, Chadwick will still choose me.” 
Adira slammed the bubbles and it hit on Isa’s face. 
“Ahh!” Isa shouted. Eyes widened, she looked at Adira and asked, “W-What was that?” 
“You are being childish. So, I repaid you with another childishness,” Adira said while smiling. 
“You… That is…” 
Isa really wanted to shout at her and take her revenge, but many are looking. 
“We won’t finish cleaning this if you keep on blabbering around. Shall we keep our mouth shut and do this? Miss Isa?” Adira offered. 
At the same time, Hansel walked inside the kitchen and was shocked to see her boss cleaning the dishes with Isa. 
When Adira saw a glimpse of Hansel, she sent a secret signal that Hansel deciphered in one go. 
Hansel nodded her head. She grabbed her phone and walked away from the cottage. 
A little while, Adira’s phone rings. 
“Oh? Someone is calling?” Adira said. She wiped her hands and picked up the phone. 
Isa watched Adira took off the apron. She felt a bit ominous about this. 
“Hello?” Adira answered to the phone call. “The price stocks? That is bad. Send me the details about that. Yes, please.”
While talking on her phone, Adira walked away from the sink. 
“W-Wait! What about this?” Isa asked her, pointing the plates. 
Adira looked back. She placed her index finger at the seam of her lips and said, “Shssh. I am dealing an important matter.” She grinned at Isa before she exited the cottage while pretending to be busy. 
Mad that she was outsmarted, Isa screamed, “Hey!” 
All employees inside the cottage looked at Isa. 
When Isa received the stares, she composed herself and smiled faintly at them. She had no choice but to wash the dish alone, which would take her hours. 
Meanwhile, Adira and Hansel met up after their phone calls. 
From afar, they watched Isa does the dishes alone. A sense of happiness came to them. 
Adira and Hansel looked at each other and made high-five. 
With this, they finally got their first revenge.
