The moment she heard he’d be coming back, Laurinda’s whole expression changed. The worry was gone, replaced with pure excitement.

“Do you want me to come to the airport?”

“No need. I’m not sure exactly when I’ll get in. Just wait for me at home. I’m about to head for the airport now, so I need to go.”
