Chapter 410
Tina POV
Seeing Thalia show up with Aiden made the acid in my stomach churn. When I found out I was mated to Heath, I thought I would finally be happy and gain the revenge for my mother’s death. Instead, my mate is chauvinist pig. He doesn’t believe a woman should have a place at the table. Even his own Luna.
So, I have to coax him into doing what I want at night, when we are in bed. Even in that, he gets his own pleasure and leaves me hanging, every single night. Sex with him never feels good and I usually have to find my own release in the bathroom while I’m cleaning up.
Fremember hearing the moaning and screams from the alpha floor back in Blackstone. My blood always boiled knowing that Thalia gets her dream man even though she was broken and used. I was untouched and I wasn’t broken. I should have been mated to Aiden and now my life
is lonelier than before.
He only has eyes for Thalia. They had pups. His position is secure, and I cannot do anything about it. Meanwhile, I’m miserable here in this small pack. Sure, we have money because of the inventions, but women are treated like second rate citizens, myself included.
Even if I go out to the markets in this area, I am not treated any different from any other woman in the pack. I am the Luna! I should be treated with a different standard. However, since my mate doesn’t treat me special, no one else does either. I might as well be an omega in
the kitchen.
Thalia is treated with grace and respect, and it boils my blood. Then she gives me her congratulations like a hypocrite.
“Gentlemen, perhaps we should go to my office for a drink and discussion. Then we can go to the labs, and I will show you some of our inventions.” Heath said. “Perhaps the ladies would like to have afternoon tea?”
He said it again in that condescending voice. Before I could answer, Thalia spoke up. “Actually, I would love to see the inventions in your labs too. I am sure I may not understand all the terms you will use, Alpha Heath, but I find it all so fascinating.”
Heath softened his eyes. “I’m sure we would appreciate your company, Luna Thalia. Perhaps you will join us too, Tina?” He said.
When he looks at me it’s with irritation. He accuses me of falsely claiming injustice against another alpha. He alpha commanded me before going out to tell him the truth and I did. By all accounts, everything I told him was the only truth I knew. I reminded him of this and all it earned me was a sneered expression and him insting me. He said this is why he doesn’t take advice from women. Women are too emotional and unreliable about information.
“Of course, my alpha.” I said with elegance. Otherwise, it’ll be another argument tonight.

He raised an eyebrow at me and then turned to Allen. “After we men discuss what we need to in my office, we will collect the women from the tearoom and head to the labs. I’m sure you all will find it interesting.”
Aiden looked at Heath and I could see the suspicion in his eyes for Heath and the worry for Thalia at the same time. He clearly doesn’t want her to be alone with me. He should be worried. I’m a capable she-wolf and she is only an obstacle. If I could help Aiden secure this pack for himself in exchange for him dropping Talia and becoming mine, I would do it.
The men left and Thalia looked at me amused. “You have your own pack and mate. You are the Luna here. Yet, you continue coveting my mate. He has no interest in Golden Frost and even less interest in you.” She said to me as she sat down at the tea table.
I’m shocked. How did she know that?
“Because I can hear your thoughts. Just like I hear Heath’s thoughts and just so you know, Aiden can hear them too.” She responded.
“How?”
Thalia looked at me seriously, “First, you can’t take me. Capable or not. Second, the Moon Goddess pairs us all with our mates for a reason. Instead of appreciating what you have, you are still coveting someone else’s mate. Heath feels it, too. This is making things harder for you. Third, you are not respected because you have not commanded or earned respect. You blame me for your misfortunes, but honestly, until today, I haven’t stepped one foot inside this pack. Everything you have managed to do here is your own doing. Stop blaming me for the way Heath treats you or for how the pack treats you.”
I tightened my fists and tried not to think about anything she could hear. Instead, I smiled, ”
