I Walked Away And He Lost His Mind (Zephyra and Steven) novel Chapter 667

I knew nothing of Myron and Steven's discussion. After returning to the inn, I felt sleepy again and went to lie down.

These past two days, I've been sleeping a lot and having the strangest dreams.

But when I woke up again, it felt like the sky was falling.

Linda told me that after Steven and Myron got back, they ran into Horace.

Myron was already in a foul mood, and seeing Horace made him explode. Without a second thought, he started arguing with Horace, calling him a homewrecker and accusing him of shamelessly hitting on 'his' Zephyra. He even chewed out Steven, yelling at him for being a pushover when his rival was right there on his doorstep, telling him to 'take him out.'

Then a woman appeared by Horace's side, Rachel I think, and she started yelling back in Horace's defense.

Meanwhile, news of Horace's appearance in the fishing village had gone viral online, so there were a lot of female fans hanging around. When they saw their idol being insulted, they fearlessly rushed into the hotel to confront Myron.

They were initially going to target Steven too, but he was better-looking than Myron and quiet, clearly not a troublemaker. The fans, all judging by appearances, couldn't bring themselves to attack him, so they left him alone and pinned all the blame on Myron.

Myron had a sharp tongue and spared no one, especially Rachel. The things he said were nasty. When Horace defended Rachel, it only egged Myron on, and he yelled even louder.

Things escalated until the whole group ended up at the police station.

Linda was bent over with laughter, clapping her hands in delight.

I had been groggy, still lost in the haze of a nightmare, but her words snapped me wide awake.

“What's so funny about your… your boss getting arrested? And everyone went to the station? Horace and Steven, too?”

“Because it's a once-in-a-century event! Mr. Taylor getting into a screaming match? Who gets to witness a scene like that?” Linda was still grinning from ear to ear. “Mainly, Mr. Taylor and Horace were taken in. Mr. Lancaster and Horace's agent are trying to bail them out. But…”

Her smile faded a bit, and she seemed troubled. After a moment's hesitation, she said, “Toward the end of the argument, I overheard them talking about you falling into the sea. Mr. Taylor was questioning Horace and Rachel, asking why, if Rachel was the last person with you, you were the one who nearly died, and not both of them.”
