Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 860

Sebastian let out a cold huff. "Why not? You cannot catch the tiger’s cub without entering the tiger’s den. Only by giving him a taste of victory will he truly believe I’ve fallen into his trap."

Foster hesitated for a moment. "But what about Ms. Harrington? She doesn't know the situation here. If she finds out, she’ll certainly misunderstand your intentions."

Sebastian fell silent for a long beat. "Keep this from her as much as possible. With her personality, if she knew what was happening here, she’d come rushing over to help regardless of the risk. I don't want her in danger. Once I’ve settled things here, I will return and explain everything to her personally."

"Understood," Foster responded quietly.

Cary gave a cold laugh. "It’s good that you know your place. Everly, don't blame me for being heartless. Blame that man for being too cruel. You know exactly what state our family is in and how hard we’ve struggled to reach this point. Do not let me down."

Everly nodded, her voice small and obedient. "Yes. I understand."
