Claire’s lips curled into a soft, confident smile. “I did. One moment, please.”

Madeline’s brows knit together. A pendant? Her mind raced straight to the moon-shaped pendant. Before she could even finish the thought, Claire reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of pristine white opal, shaped like a crescent moon.
