Chapter 14 Ms. Green, Are You Short of Money?
Daniel was cruel and had no mercy on the Green family.
In just two days, all property of the Green family was frozen, including two buildings and the stocks in the name of Madelyn's father.
Daniel was sure that Madelyn couldn't last long!
The court came to seize it, and Camila was so angry that she was sent to the hospital and given an IV drip. When she woke up, she was still not satisfied, so she went to Daniel's company to make trouble.
But Daniel was not what he used to be. Camila had been making trouble for a long time but saw nobody, and she was almost sent to the police station.
Madelyn coaxed Camila and brought her back to the hospital.
Camila lay on the sickbed and said worriedly, "It doesn't matter that we are homeless, but your father still needs a lot of money to deal with the problem. Although Mr. James is an acquaintance, we still have to pay back the money we owed him!"
Madelyn comforted her softly, "I will find a solution for the money matter."
Camila felt sorry for her. She gave Madelyn a bankbook in the afternoon, which contained around 150 thousand dollars of her private saving.
Madelyn knew that it was Camila's pension money.
She clenched the bankbook and choked slightly: "I'll take it first, and later..."
Camila interrupted her, "I still have a small apartment in the outer suburbs. Although it's old, it's okay to live in. Madelyn... You must do your best to help your father in the lawsuit."
Madelyn nodded.
After Camila was discharged from the hospital, Madelyn brought her into the temporary rented house.
The house was in an old neighborhood. The 645-square-foot house had two small rooms, and the decoration was so simple that it could not be compared with the former high-end house.
After turning around, Camila settled down.
Madelyn felt so sorry that she asked Vivian to get her two part-time jobs.
However, Vivian did not agree and said, "You have already needed to work many hours, and you want to have two more jobs. Do you want to kill yourself?"
Madelyn insisted, "I'm fine."
Vivian guessed that she needed a lot of money, so she had to get her the jobs and additionally lent Madelyn all the private savings she had saved.
Madelyn kept her kindness in mind.
