The Contracted Ever After novel Chapter 336

"Cordelia, I'm here. You don't need to get out, just head on home," Milana said.

"Oh no, I need to swing by the office, so I'll tag along," Cordelia replied, planning on seeing Ronan about this Samantha issue.

"Alright then. Wait a minute for me while I grab my things," Milana said before hopping out of the car.

Cordelia sat bored in the car, idly glancing out the window.

The car was parked in front of a hotel, with vehicles coming and going.

A white Alfa Romeo pulled up, and a woman stepped out, sauntering towards the hotel entrance.

The moment she exited the car, her presence captivated Cordelia.

She was the kind of woman that would catch anyone's attention.

Her striking features, her unique aura, and her self-assured gaze, coupled with her graceful stride, made her stand out. Her green velvet dress turned her into the center of attention.

"This woman has such an incredible aura," Cordelia couldn't help but admire.

"She's an actress, of course, her aura is strong," Tristi chimed in.

"An actress? Who is she?" Cordelia asked, puzzled.

"You don’t know Alana? Oh, right, you wouldn't. She was a big deal back in our day. I remember skipping school in fifth grade to watch her movies. Even till this day, I remember them vividly, 'Emerald Waters,' 'Sails in the Wind,' and my first onscreen kiss was in 'Pink Memories.' Us girls would gossip about who she might be dating. Those were the days... I should get her autograph," Tristi reminisced, speaking more than she ever had in front of Cordelia.

"Go for it," Cordelia encouraged, remembering that Edwin had mentioned Alana living abroad, and her return to the country was indeed a rare occasion, "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Encouraged by Cordelia, Tristi quickly grabbed a pen and paper, and rushed after Alana for her autograph.

When Milana returned to the car, Tristi was still not back.
