The Contracted Ever After novel Chapter 568

Ronan had his people tail Cordelia, and they snapped a picture of her hugging Eason as soon as she got off the plane. Then, the three of them headed to a posh mansion, which seemed to belong to the Keegan family.

Before this, Cordelia had only mentioned she was going to England alone. She never hinted at being with the Lin family or visiting the Keegans. Now, engagement rumors were flying around.

"Bro, you..." Emerson stared at Ronan, dumbfounded.

He had never seen such a cold, ruthless look in Ronan's eyes before.

Ronan was chain-smoking, his eyes fixed seemingly on the desk, but Emerson knew he was deep in thought, probably plotting his next move against Cordelia.

“Get out!” Ronan snapped at Emerson, his voice icy.

Those two words were devoid of the usual brotherly affection; they were merciless. Emerson didn’t say another word and left.

Ronan’s eyes narrowed. He had always pampered her, been tolerant, and helped whenever he could. Even though he hadn’t gone to England, he had people watching over her, just in case. Sure enough, she had taken his indulgence for granted, and it was time to stop spoiling her.

He had always coddled her, and in return, she flaunted pictures of herself with other men. And her hug with Eason—it wasn’t the first time he’d seen it, and she’d never once told him voluntarily. A woman who likes playing the field—first Jamie, now Eason. He even suspected that the rumors at Jamie’s wedding were her doing, deliberately ruining the ceremony. Some women are just born to conquer men.

Clearly, Cordelia was one of them.

He clenched his teeth tightly.

He should do what Grant Thompson would do—strip her bare and leave her to the public’s mercy.

His leniency only led her to take advantage of him.

Ah, what a fine woman she was!

A fire was kindling in Ronan’s heart, and unable to contain it, he drove to Birchwood College to find Petra.
