Recently, the presale of Edith Hills had everyone buzzing, and Emerson made sure to keep Ronan in the loop about everything.
Ronan was lounging comfortably on his couch, a playful grin tugging at his lips as he eyed Emerson.
"So, what does your future father-in-law think of you?" Ronan asked with a teasing tone.
"Come on, don't start with the father-in-law talk. Nothing's set in stone," Emerson shot back, rolling his eyes.
Feigning a sudden realization, Ronan quipped, "Ah, what about your Uncle Liu then?"
"Naturally, he thinks I'm great. Everyone does," Emerson replied with a smirk.
"Is he thinking about buying a house?" Ronan inquired.
"He said he'd consider it, but a crafty old fox like him won't show his hand easily."
"Let's get the word out to the Sales Department. Tell them Jeffrey's interested in one of our properties and likely to buy. That way, when they're pitching to potential buyers, they can drop a few hints," Ronan suggested, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Emerson paused for a moment, then chuckled, "Bro, it would be a crime against the universe if you weren't rolling in money."
Just then, Cordelia descended the stairs.
"What are you guys talking about?" she asked, catching the tail end of their conversation about Edith Hills.
"Just saying how clever my bro is. I'm about to call the Sales Department," Emerson explained.
"I'll make a call to HR," Ronan added casually.
