The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1267

Sophia noticed that Theo's attention wasn't on her. She hesitated for a moment and then said, "Hey, Theo! If it's okay with you, I'd like to invite Ellinor as well. Our first meeting wasn't exactly peachy, but I'd still love to be friends with her. What do you think?”

Theo only looked at Sophia again when he heard her mention Ellinor. "Why are you so desperate to be friends with her?"

Sophia grinned. "Well, since we're friends, I should be pals with your wife too, right? Then we can hang out together!”

Theo squinted. “Maybe, but you might be the only one thinking that way.”

Sophia blinked in confusion. "What do you mean? Don't you think Ellinor would like that too?”

Theo looked at the bandage still on Sophia's forehead. “If she thought the same as you, she wouldn't have laid a finger on you yesterday.”

Sophia touched the wound on her forehead. “Oh, that! I would've totally forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it. Theo, I really don't mind. I can understand Ellinor. I mean, I'm a girl and we're friends, so it's normal for her to get a little jealous when she sees you with other girls. It's water under the bridge; I still want to be friends with Ellinor!”

Jealous?

Theo scoffed. He didn't believe for a second that Ellinor had attacked Sophia out of jealousy. She had acted out of pure annoyance and dissatisfaction.

Who could make her jealous?

Sophia felt she had overstayed her welcome. If she stayed any longer, she might annoy Theo. It was all about knowing when to call it a day.

Theo gave her a slight nod without getting up to see her out.

After watching Sophia leave, Theo's eyes fell on the fruit on the table.
