As Alexandra sits by the window reading a book to the moon for a long moment. She closes it and blows a kiss towards the moon, and shuts her window.

"Sleep tight beautiful moon" she turns off the lights and climbs on her bed, closing her eyes, darkness overpowers her mind.

The sky roars and a storm begins to pour down in the city, a heavy wind blows causing the curtains to brush against each other, although not menacingly.

Alexandra tosses, grabbing the duvet and covering herself, embracing her chilled body. A heavy arm sticks in through the window, putting his other arm, Adam jumps into her bedroom and runs his hand through his wet hair.

"Annoying weather" He shuts the window and begins to take slow yet calculated steps toward Alexandra, who was fast asleep.

"So beautiful" he tucks the strand of hair behind her ear.

Trailing his index finger on her face, Alexandra turns and he pauses for a moment. Adam lowers his face towards her, bringing his lips closer, almost attempting to kiss her when Alexandra quickly opens her eyes, and he jerks, startled.

"Adam" she whispers, sitting up bewildered to see him. "What are you doing in my room? How did you get in? What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" She asks, her cold gaze burning through his eyes

Adams smiles, ashamed of getting caught.

"How did you get in here?"

"Through the window"

"Are you a thief? A killer, why on earth will you go through my window?"

"It… because it was already late and I knew you would be asleep"

"I locked my window, how did you get in?"

"You did not lock it"

"You're a liar"

"That window doesn't even have a lock remember"

"Why are you here?"

"I came to talk to you"

"In the middle of the night. Are you nuts?"

"Yes… I mean no… I wouldn't be here if it wasn't urgent"

"Urgent? What sort of urgency is it that you couldn't wait in the morning"

"Don't marry him"

Alexandra bites her lower lips trying to calm her nerves. "Get out" she whispers

"What? Are you kicking me out of your room in the middle of the night?"

"Did I invite you over?"

"Alexandra please, I… is late and there's a heavy downpour in the city, the roads must all be blocked"

"Then sit on the couch over there and don't disturb my beauty sleep"

Adams laughs. "Beauty sleep" locking eyes with Alexandra, he quiets down and moves to the couch while Alexandra hides under the duvet.

"Are you cold?"

"Stop talking"

"Should I heat up–"
