"Why him?"
"What?"
"He doesn't suit you Alexandra please, just don't do it"
She smirks seeing right through him. "Who do you think then should be the better man for me if it isn't my Nathaniel" she scoffs. "Don't tell me you think of yourself as the best candidate"
"I have a lot of outstanding qualities"
"Enlighten me, what makes you better than Alpha Nathaniel?"
"I don't know… I can't think of anything but think about this Alexandra, who will be a better man for you. Didn't they say that the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know"
Alexandra rolls her eyes. "Don't delude yourself. There is also a saying that your worst enemy is those of your household or haven't you heard that?"
"I'm different"
"How so? Prove it" she scoffs ridiculously "You've been a colossal waste of my time" she tries to walk away when he holds her leg
"Please" he states almost breaking into tears "Don't marry him, Alexandra"
Staring intently at him, old memories jump into her head crippling her mind. Alexandra clenches her jaw as the horrifying pain of Adams's mistreatment in the past rips her apart.
He had hurt her leaving invisible scars on her heart and body and Alexandra couldn't just forget it all like it never happened.
Right before her eyes, he had watched him cheat on her with Olivia, while taking advantage of her young and innocent mind, he must have thought she was stupid and clumsy at that time but what he didn't know is the fact that she wasn't the same Alexandra he once knew.
The one he plotted against caused her to lose her sanity while he tore her apart, betraying her for his greed and insecurity. Alexandra inhales deeply as the memories settle in her mind reminding her of all he had done to her.
Without uttering a word, Alexandra leaves the room, slamming the door, hoping he would be gone by the time she goes back to her bedroom. Alexandra bumps into Olivia in the hallway.
"I was about to go and call you, breakfast is ready"
Bewildered Alexandra ask. "Who cooked?"
"There were some leftovers in the fridge, I just had to reheat them"
Alexandra nods affirmatively observing Olivia she could tell she was up to no good.
"Come on let's go"
"No you go ahead, I'm not hungry"
Olivia scoffs unbelievably. "You don't think I poisoned the food"
"That's your guilt speaking"
"Alexandra!" She states aloud "I'm only trying to be nice"
"You be nice" Alexandra chuckles. "Did Jezebel ever turn into a good person?"
"How dare you?"
"No, how dare you try to act nice in front of me Olivia. I can see right through you"
"What can you see?"
"Everything, you have no idea"
"Listen Alexandra I don't have time for your drama, I only came to call you for breakfast because your father asked me to, and left for me I wouldn't mind if you eat or starve to death"
"That's the Olivia Guerrero I know, the vicious one"
"What? Vicious! You're crazy, hurry down, he seems to have an announcement to make" Olivia walks away and Alexandra joins her wondering what Bernard had to say that involved her. If anything they didn't have that kind of relationship and Alexandra wasn't ready to build one either, not after what he had done to her in the past.
