The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha novel Chapter 18

Alexandra walks towards the entrance door, curious about who stood behind closed doors as she approaches, flings the door wide open exposing an unfamiliar middle-aged man. Observing him intently, Alexandra clears her throat.

"Good day sir"

"You must be Alexandra"

"Yes, and who are you?"

As the man attempts to speak, Bernard yells. "Who's at the door?"

"Is your Father home?"

"Yes he is"

"May I come in Ms. I wish to speak with him"

"You can come in sir" Alexandra steps aside and the man enters the living room, glancing around.

Alexandra gestures for him to sit down, walking away into the dining room.

"Someone's here to see you Father"

"Who is he?" Bernard groans hating to be interrupted during his breakfast

"I don't know"

Bernard throws her a scolding look. "And you didn't ask?"

"No, I didn't"

Veronica scoffs. "You let a stranger into our house, sitting in my living room"

"He's not a stranger"

"Is he then your friend?"

"Of course not, what I meant is I don't think he's a stranger since he knows my name"

"He knows your name" Bernard states

"Yes he does and he wishes to speak with you"

Clearing his throat, Bernard stands up with Veronica and they walk into the living room. Alexandra runs her hand through her hair wondering who the mysterious man sitting in her living might be. She was certain about one thing, that he isn't from the Guerrero pack "but how does he know he knows her name.?" She wonders.

As curiosity washed across her face, Alexandra stretched her neck, hoping to eavesdrop on their conversation when Olivia quickly dumped her orange juice on her face, startling her.

"Shameless"

"What?" Alexandra wipes the stain off her eyes

"Didn't your mother teach you basic manners?"

"What did you just say?" Alexandra clenches her jaw

Olivia smirks, flipping her hair back, and standing up. "Is bad enough you have to be so mannerless but do you have to exhibit your bad trait everywhere you go"

Alexandra smirks, grabbing her glass of juice she throws it on Olivia's face causing her to gasp, bewildered.

"Have you lost your mind?"

"It is you who have her lost her mind"
