Alexandra couldn't fathom why Nathaniel had to say that to her. First, he blamed her for what happened to Olivia as if he was so damn sure that she caused harm to her. Even though his action had enraged her, she decided to let it go and not try to defend herself since she was the mastermind.
But he still had to go ahead and bring up their marriage, that was a blow to her face and deep down, it made her feel let down, trampled upon. She couldn't believe he would drag their marriage into the drama all because of Olivia who meant nothing to him.
Alexandra knew Nathaniel may have thought that she had gone too far by applying aphrodisiac on Olivia before she left the house, but she didn't regret it. If given another opportunity, she would still do it again because Olivia deserves it even much worse and this was only the beginning. The next one was going to hit her harder the same manner she had hit her, breaking every piece of her.
Entering the cozy restaurant Alexandra place her order sitting at that same table she had sat with Nathaniel while they ate the other days, memories invade her mind and she quickly pushes him out of her mind.
"You started this Nathaniel" she scoffs, unbelievably hating how he had asked her about those Rogues.
Although she had been the one who arranged for those rogues to attack Olivia and Adams, Alexandra didn't want to admit to anyone much less him, and denying his accusation wasn't in the picture, it was a petty act she hates to result in especially when it comes to Olivia and Adams.
Rubbing her palms together excitedly as the waiter departs, Alexandra couldn't think of any better way to celebrate her triumphant victory over Olivia and Adams than treating herself to a nice meal, cutting the pork meat, Alexandra savors the mouth-watering taste as it pleasures her bud.
"This is so good" she smiles takes another bite, takes a sip of her juice, and attempts to take another bite when a voice states.
"Wow! Are you going to finish all that by yourself?"
Lifting her head, Alexandra locks eyes with the pack member earlier.
"Oh hey"
"I don't know you also come to this restaurant"
"I do" Alexandra states hoping she wouldn't want to sit down with her but her hope was cut short when the girl draws out a seat and plops down.
"Hope you don't mind?"
Alexandra forces a smile. "I mind," she thinks in her mind but doesn't dare say it, for she was aware of what words like that would do to another person, it will damage their self-esteem making them feel as though they are not wanted.
"Alexandra, do you mind?" The girl states and Alexandra snaps back to reality.
"No, of course not. There's a lot of meat, you can join me"
"Is it raw meat with blood?"
Alexandra glares at her. "Keep your voice down, someone might hear you"
"But we're werewolves, everyone in this town knows we exist"
"But not everyone knows our eating habits let alone we try to be civil so as not to scare humans away"
"Wow, so cool" The girl states and cuts a piece of meat, chewing it gently. "Is too tender but is okay, is spicy. I love spicy meat"
"They sell the best meat here"
The girl nods affirmatively, stretching her muscles and it cracks, she groans. "This is exactly what I need"
"Long training"
"Is killing me"
"Then stop it" Alexandra chuckles
"I can't, my mom said I'm too weak and so this training is the only thing I use to prove to her that I'm not weak"
Not saying a word, Alexandra continues to eat her food.
