A Journey from Bitterness to Truth (Matilda and Yvan) novel Chapter 314

Matilda left, taking all her questions with her, as the dust settled. She chose to give up the search for the person pulling the strings from the shadows. Maybe she was tired of the constant deceit and wanted to quickly wrap up the studio's business and leave, or perhaps... she already knew who it was. Who had tried to take her down.

The music festival at sea wrapped up on the third day, flooding the entertainment world with news. The top DJs all rightfully earned their spots, leaving everyone feeling profoundly satisfied. The cruise ship itself was a perfect hunting ground for romance, with countless men and women brushing shoulders, all seeking a night of revelry under the cover of thumping electronic beats.

Matilda and her studio crew disembarked from the ship, with Luna still buzzing with excitement. "Wow, I absolutely adore Martin! He's so cute in person!"

"I'm more of a Skrillex fan," Hala chimed in. "Such talent!"

"Marshmello's set was off the hook, but ZOMBOY stole the show for me. The moment he hit the stage, the crowd went wild. That's how you do dubstep!"

Yoshi, clearly no stranger to the dance scene, stood next to Hala and noticed Matilda's sullen mood, instinctively asking, "Hey Matilda, what's up?"

Just then, Yvan walked past her, making her stumble a bit as she stepped down from the ship.

"Hey!" Adrian quickly extended a hand from behind her. "Careful on the stairs."

"Thanks."

Matilda pulled away from his embrace and watched Yvan's retreating back for a long time before turning to Adrian.

"Thanks for jumping in to save me that night," she said.

Adrian just nodded, but Matilda had already turned away to catch up with the rest of the crew, her figure disappearing into the crowd. Gradually, she walked away, further and further.
