A Journey from Bitterness to Truth (Matilda and Yvan) novel Chapter 391

Her face turned ghostly pale from the pain, quickly held down by those around her, yet her gaze remained icy cold. "Call off your dogs and get their hands off me!"

Esme stepped forward and delivered a slap across Matilda's face, then spat out a string of low-class curses. "You little tramp, acting all high and mighty! I should let the boys have their way with you, see if you can still talk tough then!"

Matilda's face was ashen as she struggled with all her might. She could feel the not-yet-healed scars on her back starting to bleed again, soaking the back of her shirt, sending chills throughout her body. Pain... her body was in agony...

In front of all the servants, Esme brazenly called in a group of men, the same ones who had been kicked until they spat blood by Hadrian before.

Esme wore a conniving smile. "Here, have a woman, don't mind the details, have your fun!"

Have your fun!

This was happening in the Crowe family, under the watchful eyes of so many!

Matilda's fingers trembled, her voice hoarse. "Get away! Don't come any closer!"

But the men advanced with wicked laughs, their hands roaming freely over her skin. "After all the trouble we went through to catch you, getting kicked around by the boss, we've got to get our money's worth today..."

As they lifted Matilda's clothing, she screamed, a piercing sound like a wounded bird, but the onlookers seemed entertained. In the Jungle Union, it was the cold-hearted who survived, and such scenes had desensitized them!

No one came to her rescue!

"Hoping for Orson and the master to save you?"

Esme sneered maliciously. "Sorry, they're all out on training today, along with my son. So, with Margo and Abigail off in the mountains paying respects, today, the Jungle Union is under my control!"

She was in control!
