Adrian couldn't help but chuckle as he looked at Logan, reaching over to adjust the crown sitting askew on his head, "There you go."
Then came a bunch of Yvan's close friends. Some hadn't had the time to shop for gifts and instead pulled out thick envelopes of cash. Standing aside like a proud coach announcing scores, Yvan called out their names one by one—
"Here's Rafferty."
"Nice to meet you, Rafferty."
Rafferty handed over an envelope stuffed with $8888, sliding it into Logan's hands, "Stash this away, don't let your dad swipe it."
Yvan, standing by, announced, "Alright, gift's given, you can scram."
"Next up is Chase, Keaton's older brother."
"Hello."
"What a good kid!" Chase had bought Logan a high-end diving watch, clearly a pricey limited edition piece, "You're still young, and I couldn't think of anything else. So, I got you this watch. Next year, when you're older, I'll get you a car."
"Are you trying to corrupt Yvan's son? Haha."
"Hey, little Logan, when you grow up, Rafferty will get you a date."
"Rafferty, you shameless man, haha!"
"Yvan's about to start swinging, let's bail!"
When Declan walked in, Yvan didn't bother with introductions, which made the man narrow his eyes, "What, I don't get a mention?"
Yvan replied, "Can't be bothered, just hurry up with your gift."
Declan, clearly irked, pulled a bag from behind him. His gift to Logan was a Bulgari bracelet, to which Yvan scoffed, "Lacks originality."
