A Journey from Bitterness to Truth (Matilda and Yvan) novel Chapter 411

Matilda clasped her hand over her mouth, her eyes wide as Logan turned around, looking every bit the prince charming of a fairy tale, shining like a star. He was draped in a bright red cape with golden fur trim, striking a pose that was both dashing and adorable. There, Logan stood, resembling a beautifully crafted doll.

That was her son...

Matilda couldn't help but praise genuinely, "Looking sharp."

Logan himself was taken aback, not expecting Yvan to go to such lengths. He touched the crown atop his head, realizing the diamonds and gems embedded in it were real. At the very center of the crown was an impressively large amber stone, surrounded by gems of every color—blue, pink, and yellow diamonds, along with agate and peridot, all circling down to a layer of freshwater pearls. The crown was a testament to the artisan's skill, with its pure gold slowly molded into a regal shape by the hands of a master craftsman, then carefully sculpted and formed. It was clear that this masterpiece had gone through countless processes before its debut.

Yvan must have put a lot of thought into it.

Why would he think to gift Logan such a crown? It wasn't just about the money; the effort behind it was something Logan felt he could hardly bear.

Then, the waiter wheeled in the cake, a handmade masterpiece in itself, topped with a generous layer of fruit slices blending perfectly with the creamy frosting and the rich red velvet cake beneath. A small figure of a prince, cape and crown included, adorned the top.

Logan glanced at it, and his eyes instantly misted up. Yvan added, "Remember to make a wish before you blow out the candles."

As he finished speaking, a chorus of voices filled the entrance, and Logan looked up to see Yvan's friends, each holding various gifts, storming in. Keaton was leading the charge, "Heard it's Yvan's little champ's birthday today?"

Glancing down, the so-called little champ stood before him, a harmless smile on his face, "Hey, bro."
