"R7CKY hit the nail on the head with that one."
Logan's mind raced back to a time when Jungle Union was under the iron fist of a fearsome figure named Hadrian. Even Chad, with all his bluster, would shake in his boots at the mention of Hadrian. Why then, Logan wondered, had Jungle Union become such a mess, even daring to target them?
It had to be... they'd lost Hadrian's iron grip.
Feeling like he'd stumbled upon a breakthrough, Logan turned to R7CKY, "Hey, could you do some digging for me? Find out what's been going down with Hadrian lately. Maybe we can pull off a clever move. Get him back in charge of Jungle Union, and nobody will dare cross us again!"
The kid was onto something. Taking a swing at the top dog of Jungle Union and winning him over could mean getting the rest of them under control. Logan was proving to be quite the sharp cookie.
R7CKY, lazily cracking open sunflower seeds, squeezed out a few words through his teeth, "Ah, gimme a break, will ya? Let me rest a bit."
"I'll have Mr. Boyd send you some cash."
R7CKY sprang from his chair, banging on the table, "Now you're talking! Money talks, my friend!"
Ventus, on the other hand, remained quietly unimpressed.
The next day, Logan went to talk to Yvan about his plan. Matilda had just woken up, and he didn't want her getting the wrong idea about him and Yvan sneaking around, so he texted Yvan instead of meeting openly. Claiming he was off to play with friends, Logan leaped out of bed and was out the door before Matilda could even react, his little legs carrying him swiftly past Keaton.
"Hey, you little rascal, in such a hurry?" Keaton called out to him.
