A Journey from Bitterness to Truth (Matilda and Yvan) novel Chapter 667

"Matilda?" The way Yvan said the name, there was a hint of flirtation in his voice. He grinned, his eyes crinkling with amusement, "You guys flew in from Zach Country?"

"Yep." Logan pulled out a business card from the pocket of his tuxedo and handed it to Yvan, "Here, this is our company address. Feel free to drop by."

He was always ready with a business card, like a true little entrepreneur. Yvan couldn't help but chuckle at the gesture, "Hey, you treating me like a potential client?"

"Maybe," Logan responded coyly, not directly answering the question, "What would you like me to consider you as?"

Yvan found Logan's retort amusing. Smart kid. Stepping closer, he ruffled Logan's hair, "Anything works. I'll give you a heads up when I decide to visit."

"Sounds good," Logan agreed instantly, "How long have you been in Australia?"

"About six months," Yvan stood up, "The dinner party will wrap up soon, and then there's a dance. I bet your mom doesn't know about it, huh?"

Logan shook his head, "No clue. You planning to invite my mom?"

"Exactly." Yvan snapped his fingers, his handsome features drawing covert glances from many passing by. Yet, standing there with Logan, he seemed utterly unfazed by the whispers suggesting they were father and son, their contrasting but striking appearances a sight to behold.

"See you at the dance then, esteemed... Oh, sorry, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name, sir?" Logan bowed slightly, his tone gentle, mimicking the demeanor of a young nobleman.
