A Journey from Bitterness to Truth (Matilda and Yvan) novel Chapter 766

Lance first made do with cleaning R7CKY's wound at Matilda's place, then, flicking on his flashlight, he focused on the bullet wound in R7CKY's abdomen. "The bullet's lodged deep. Any slight move could cause a major bleed out."

"Is there a chance we can save him?"

Ventus, anxious, threw in a question. If something were to happen to R7CKY, their group, the Seven Sins, might just fall apart.

Logan, too, was visibly anxious, furrowing his brows. "Can he hold on till Keaton gets here?"

Lance shook his head, "We better start now. I'm worried by the time Keaton gets here, he might not make it."

"If only he was here..." Ventus muttered under his breath.

When Lance had arrived, he was in full gear, obviously not wanting to be recognized. His hair was tucked under a thick beanie, leaving only his piercing eyes visible. Ventus couldn't shake off the feeling that he had met Lance before, but he just couldn't place where.

He thought, if only envy, one of the Seven Sins, were here, maybe they could pull R7CKY back from the brink of death.

Yvan glanced at Matilda, who was also trying to maintain her composure despite her pale face. "We should get him to a hospital..."

R7CKY's life was at stake, and he had once helped Matilda and her son.

Lance looked up at Yvan, "Yvan, can you manage it? To ensure the hospitals in Whty City keep this under wraps?"

In Sea City, Yvan could guarantee silence, but Whty City was uncertain.
