"Let me tell ya..." R7CKY cracked open the thermos Matilda had brought him and took a sip. Yvan's glare was sharp enough to cut, causing R7CKY to shrink back a bit before cautiously revealing, "About me getting shot, there's some intel I gotta share with you guys."

Lance, ever so casually, ladled himself a bowl of chicken noodle soup, acting all high and mighty. After slurping it down, he didn't hesitate to comment, "Not bad, someone's been giving you pointers, huh?"

Matilda chuckled, "Chef Godfrey was kind enough to offer his guidance."

"Would you listen to me?!" R7CKY was on the edge, blurting out, "I think my shooting was orchestrated by Wind Deity."

Everyone froze at that.

"That was my initial thought too."

Ventus chimed in coldly, "If it was Cyprian aiming to wipe out the Seven Sins, it wouldn't surprise me."

Knowing what was about to unfold was none of her business, Matilda silently made her exit from the room. Logan noticed his mom leaving and hopped off the bed to follow.

"Mommy?" Logan saw Matilda standing against the corridor wall and softly called out. Matilda looked up to see her little boy coming after her, "Are you sad?"

Matilda squatted down, offering a faint smile, "A bit, because I've realized there's an entire world sandwiched between yours and mine."

A world Yvan, R7CKY, and Ventus had access to, yet she was barred from entering.
