Matilda, who you'd expect to be all damsel-in-distress after getting her wallet snatched, suddenly sprang into action. With swift and sure movements, she grabbed the mugger by the back of his shirt and yanked him towards her, then flipped him onto the ground with a thud!
Gasps echoed around.
Without a moment's hesitation, Matilda regained her wallet, then, with her hand shaped like a claw, she grabbed the mugger by the neck and slammed him against the wall.
The mugger's knees buckled, his face turned ashen as he stared at Matilda, who responded with a slap across his face.
"What are you waiting for? Call the cops!" Matilda yelled, prompting the onlookers to finally fish out their phones and dial 911. Some even praised Matilda's sleek moves, and the whole ordeal, which started less than five seconds ago, was swiftly coming to an end.
The mugger, pinned against the wall by Matilda, attempted to retaliate. However, Matilda targeted his vulnerable spots – the fragile joints of the human body, like the neck and wrists. A twist of her fingers, and the mugger let out a scream.
His wrist was dislocated by Matilda's firm twist!
"Think you can try that again?" Matilda coldly snapped. "Picking on girls, shame on you!"
"So cool..." a shop employee, dressed in a diner's uniform, swooned over Matilda, "Even cooler than most guys!"
Matilda glanced back, and a group of employees screamed in adoration, their eyes filled with hearts, "So badass!"
"Miss, your strength is incredible!"
Amidst the crowd's chatter, Matilda maintained her composed demeanor, though her grip remained unyieldingly tight. No wonder Criss said she's becoming more and more like Yvan, showing no mercy when it's due.
"Thought you could get away with mugging? Picked the wrong target, didn't you?"
With a cold chuckle, Matilda twisted the mugger's arms behind his back and then forcefully kneed him in the spine.
"Ah!"
Facing the wall, the mugger's movement was restrained; Matilda handed her reclaimed wallet to Chloe, "Hold this for me."
