Forced Marriage To The Secret Billionaire novel Chapter 35

AUTHOR'S POV

“ Why did Grandfather call me back? ” Sara mumbled for the nth time causing Silas to groan out.

They both were sitting on the couch side by side after eating their dinner and Sara had been repeating the same thing over and over again.

This was getting on Silas's nerves now.

“ Why don't you call him and ask? ” He mocked clearly annoyed by her dazed behaviour.

“ Really? ” Sara turned to look at him in wonder.

Silas blinked his eyes in disbelief. She was too shocked, he thought and shook his head.

Sighing out, he pushed himself up from the couch and marched toward the bed to grab a pillow. It was already late and they needed to go back in the early morning because Grandfather Magnus had demanded so.

Silas knew why Grandfather Magnus was calling them back. He knew Sara had a hunch too. Her Mr. Devil had acted up to bring her back.

He sighed again and strolled back to the couch before staring her down.

Why did he lie to her in the first place? He was getting jealous from himself. She was relying on the person she called the Devil and he didn't like it one bit.

What if the heir to Alexander Group was not he - himself?

What if it was someone else?

He had been asking these questions to himself when he clearly knew that he was the one at fault. He lied to her. She had never pretended to like him and she had never failed to vocalize how she only wanted power and nothing else.

“ What's wrong with you? ” Sara noticed Silas's bitter expressions and asked out of worry.

Was he sick again?

She pushed herself off the couch and rushed by his side before placing the back of her hand over his forehead. She sighed visibly.

“ You don't have fever. ” She smiled awkwardly when Silas grabbed her hand and pushed it away from his forehead.

There was something hidden underneath this intense look in Silas's eyes which made Sara gulp.

What was wrong with him? She wondered and stepped away from him.

Her eyes searched his light brown orbs for any hint. Her hand was still held in his warm hand.

“ You should go to sleep. We have to leave early in the morning. ” Silas left Sara's hand gently and stepped past her to place the pillow on the couch.

“ Are you going to sleep on the couch? ” Sara questioned and eyed him down curiously.

Silas was acting strange and Sara was trying to understand what was wrong with him. He was fine before Grandfather Magnus called.

Was he not happy about leaving from here? The thought occured in Sara's mind but she shook it off.

As long as he was not sick, she didn't need to worry. Reassuring herself, Sara shrugged her shoulders and walked over to the bed.

She turned her head to look at Silas once again. He was already laying on the couch now. His arm was placed over his eyes.
