He took out a written invitation and said, "To celebrate the successful closure of compet.i.tions, and for the future generations of guild members, the Master's Guild is inviting people to a banquet tonight. Because you weren't there, they had requested that I pa.s.s the invitation to you."

"Mmhm, since the Alchemy Masters were the ones who organised the banquet, it will be held at their organisation." Sima You Ran said. "We don't get along with them, so don't have to go."

"I'll go back first then." Sima You Ran said.

In the afternoon, Sima You Yue received another invitation, but under someone else's name.

"Jade is inviting me to a banquet?" Sima You Yue looked at the invitation, and was surprised that she would be invited.

"I don't know, the person who sent the invitation had just dropped the invitation and promptly left. I happened to pa.s.s by, and so I brought it here." Fatty Qu said. "You Yue, will you be going today then?"

"She wrote that she has something that she would like to discuss with me, it looks like she has a purpose for looking for me. Since it is this way, I should just go, and if it is a waste of time I'll just return early." Sima You Yue said.

Sima You Lin looked at her, and his eyes glistened. He didn't say anything, but closed his eyes once more.

The palanquin brought them punctually to the Alchemy Masters Guild, and under the instruction of the servant girl, they brought them to the banquet's location.

At that time there was already a crowd, and a significant number of members of other families had already arrived, each holding a cup of wine, gathered in groups of three to five and chattering. Sima You Yue held a cup of wine and chatted with Sima You Lin at a corner.
