“That is Young Master Lian Tian’s courtyard, how could that be?” A man taunted.

“We will know when we search, won’t we?” Sima You Yue said. “You Lin, go there.”

“Alright.” Sima You Lin sent his flying beast into the yard. Lian Tian’s face turned pale as he quickly glanced over at his guards. The latter moved quickly to block tehri paths. Sima You yue turned and looked at Lian Jue. Lian Jue gave a wave of his arm, but the guards refused to move.

The flying beast brought the crowd to that courtyard, and flew steadily at the same speed for about ten minutes. At the end of it, only ten more minutes remained.

“You Yue, will Little Lian really be here?” Chou Xiao Tian asked, seeing that there was no movement in the courtyard.

“Trust me. Let’s go in.” Sima You Yue said.”Clan Leader, would you like to come in with us?”

“Of course. Let’s go.” Elder Bai said, his eyes constantly fixed on Scarlet.

“Come, then.” Sima You Yue leaped off the flying beast, bringing along the Black and White Elders, Lian Jue, Lian Yu’s mother and Lian Tian together with her. Lian Yu’s mother’s eyes looked at Lian Tian, perplexed. Her lips twitched, but she said nothing, and she followed Sima You Yue and the rest into the house.

“Young Master.” A few people came out from the house. And seeing the look that they wore on their faces, Lian Tian started to relax.

“There is no Lian Hong here. You’ve lied and claimed that our brother is dead, causing my mother much grief, and now you want to have me caught in a lie as well?” He bellowed in anger.

“There really is no one here.” Lian Jue said.

They were all monks. Although they had not entered every single room, they were aware of what was going on inside the house. Sima You Yue smiled and said nothing, but walked straight into the unassuming house. Entering the building, there really was no one in sight.

“Three more minutes remain.” One of the elders behind reminded them.

Lian Tian’s lips curled into a smile, saying, “And so? Like I said, you guys are a bunch of fraudsters…” But his smile did not last very long, for he noticed a bee on the wall, one that was exactly like the one on Sima You Yue’ shoulder. How could there be bees in this place? She had come after the bees had returned, and the appearance of the bee caused his heart to sink for a moment.

Watching his surprised gaze, Sima You Yue went to that wall, and locked in the position of the bee. Using her strength and stretching out it, the wall started to cave in from the inside, revealing a secret chamber. In the secret chamber lay Lian Hong, unconscious.

“Little Lian!” Chou Xiao Tian ran over and held Lian Hong in his arms. The face was extremely similar to that of his own father’s appeared before everyone’s eyes.

“Yu-er!” Lian Yu’s mother cried out as she ran over, wishing to reach out and touch Lian Hong, but was too afraid to.

Sima You Yue went forward and inspected Lian Hong’s body. She then took out a jade vial and opened its cap, waving it under his nose.

“Ughh—” As Lian Hong took in that terrible scent, he woke slowly. His eyes caught sight of Chou Xiao Tian and he called out weakly, “Master.” Seeing that Lian Hong had awoken, Chou Xiao Tian heaved a sigh of relief. He looked and Lian Jue and said, “Clan Leader, how will you explain this?”

Lian Jue’s expression fell. He looked at Lian Tian, and gave a wave of his hand. Two guards promptly appeared and grabbed hold of Lian Tian.

“Clan Leader?!” Lian Tian cried out.

“Go to the Main Hall.” Lian Jue’s expression darkened. With that, he turned and left the courtyard. The guards dragged Lian Tian away, with the others following behind, leaving Sima You Yue and the rest in the courtyard.

“My child…” Lian Yu’s mother tenderly caressed Lian Hong’s face.

“You are..?” Lian Hong looked suspiciously at his grandmother. He had only just regained consciousness, and was unclear of what had happened the previous night.

“I am your grandmother, Hua Nong Ying” As Lian Yu’s mother looked at that familiar face, she could not help but allow the tears to fall from her eyes like the rain.
