Thalia POV

We have been inside of this safe room long enough. I cannot stand being here any longer and Rory already knows my patience has thinned. I’m still getting contractions, but they are over fifteen minutes apart. I am not going to worry about them right now.

It is extremely quiet all over this place and I want to know what is happening. “Rory, I’m getting out of here.”

“You know you can’t.”

“Oh, but I can. Aiden said there was a safety switch in here for emergencies. I’m not staying here for another minute. I’m having contractions and the stress is only exacerbating the situation.” I said and I pulled out the panel with the emergency switch. When the door unlocks, I feel like I can breathe again.

Rory is following after me, “Tally, look, if you want to know what’s going on, let’s look from one of the windows. You are pregnant with my nieces. You have to be careful.”

That’s not unreasonable. I do need to be careful and if I need to get back to the safe room, I can and still be safe, which would make Aiden happy. “Fine. Let’s go.”

We walk to what will be the nursery for the girls and I immediately make my way to the window. I quietly open it and listen in. Thank goodness that is one of my gifts. I haven’t had to use it in quite a while.

“Alpha Heath, your Luna Tina claims are unfounded. Alpha Aiden was within his rights.” Said some guy.

“I have no idea who those people are.” I whispered to Rory, “But they were here for Aiden. I don’t know why but it has something to do with that bitch Tina.”

“ATTACK THIS FUCKING PACK, NOW!”

I whipped my head out the window and I saw the alpha’s pack fighting with ours, but there were guards not lifting a finger to help him either.

“Don’t worry. It will be over quickly.” Rory said, but just as I start to calm down, I see a shining blast come from the Alpha.

“What the fuck was that?” I said.

“I don’t know. I have never seen anything like that before.” Rory said.

“I’m going down there right now, Rory. Stay here if you want.” I said as I made my way to the door.

“What, and miss all the fun?” Rory said and I saw her extend her nails.

At least she isn’t fighting me. We make our way outside and I see this alpha trying to attack Aiden and I screamed, “WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!” I snarled.

Everyone stops when Nyx let’s her growl be heard.

Aiden looks at me, “Go back inside Thalia. Now!”

I raised an eyebrow and narrowed my eyes at him before turning back to this Heath character. “I asked you a fucking question.” I growled.

Aiden backed up and smirked. “You may want to answer her, Alpha Heath. Her temper can get really ugly.”

“Not my problem you can’t keep your bitch on a leash.” Heath said and I fucking snapped.
