William quickly caught up and saw Nina’s red forehead. He was so angry that he almost kicked Daniel!
But remembering Amelia’s reminder to the whole family-not to hit in front of Nina-William gritted his teeth and held back.
He picked up Nina, his face dark, and shouted at Daniel “Wait until your brother gets back-we’ll see how he deals with you!”
Daniel said helplessly, “Deal with me? I didn’t hit Nina!”
William didn’t want to hear it. “Look at Nina’s forehead!
Nina’s skin was soft, and her forehead was clearly red from the collision.
Daniel looked and felt a pang of guilt.
He walked over a few steps and apologized to Nina. “Nina, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. Hit me again if you
want.”
Daniel was extremely indulgent with Nina.
After saying that, he let her hit him again. Nina didn’t hold back.
Tears welled in her eyes, and she lifted her little chubby hand to smack Daniel.
After Nina hit him, Daniel yelled “Ouch!” exaggeratedly pretending it hurt a lot.
Nina couldn’t help but giggle at his over-the-top expression.
“Hit! Hit Un-coo Dan’el!”
Every time Nina hit him, Daniel made a dramatic sound.
Nina giggled while continuing to smack him with her lile hands.
Just as Nina laughed loudly, a familiar voice rang out. “Nina!”
It was Amelia. The moment Amelia’s voice came, Nina, who had been happily smacking her uncle, immediately cupped his face and pouted to soothe him
“No hurt! Un-coo Dan’el no hurt!”
Nina didn’t look back at Amelia, but she tried to make amends before Amelia could intervene.
Daniel said quickly, “Amelia, Nina was just playing with me. She doesn’t have any strength; it didn’t hurt.”
“Daniel, don’t say that in front of her.” Amelia stopped niel, then came up to Nina, holding her little hand so she couldn’t pull away.
Sensing something was wrong, Nina tried to appease Amelia. “Mommy, no hit Nina!”

Amelia kept a stern face, showing no softness, and lightly slapped Nina’s little hand a few times.
Feeling the sting, Nina pouted, ready to cry, but Amelia colded in a firm voice, “No crying.”
While scolding, Amelia explained, “Hitting is a bad habit. Your uncle didn’t hit you, so how can you hit him?
“When Mommy hits you, does it hurt?
“So when you hit your uncle, does it hurt him?”
William stayed out of it while Amelia taught Nina a lesson.
Daniel, though, tried to stick up for her a few times, which made Amelia lose patience-she had to mention Benjamin.
“Daniel, if you keep interrupting me while teaching Nin, I’ll tell Benjamin!”
Daniel immediately said, “No! I’m wrong!”
After Daniel admitted his mistake, Nina tearfully admitted hers too.
She said sorry to Daniel.
Frank, sitting by the LEGO set and watching Nina being scolded, couldn’t help but smirk.
He loved seeing Nina in a bind!
Watching Nina, Frank felt that Nina might be beautiful, but besides that, she was good for nothing, always hitting others without manners.
He felt that compared to her, he was far superior in every way.
His confidence soared, convinced he could win everyone’s favor.
After Amelia finished scolding, Nina saw that her mother still had a stern face. She held out her little hands, pouting, “Mommy, hug!”
Amelia picked her up and comforted her, “Alright, no more crying. Mommy doesn’t want to hit you either.
“Next time, be good and don’t hit anyone. Then Mommy won’t have to hit you.”
Nina rested her little face on her shoulder, quietly upse
