Amelia wasn’t a professionally trained actress, but her acting was very natural and spirited. She could also dance and sing-her talents were quite comprehensive!

Daniel felt she just lacked opportunities. And conveniently, from now on, with him and the Graham family behind her, Amelia would never lack opportunities again!

As the two adults talked, Nina stared unblinkingly at the apple Daniel was peeling. Seeing him finish, she promptly opened her mouth. “Ah!”

Nina didn’t want formula; she wanted proper, tasty food.

Amelia frowned slightly. “Nina, you can’t do that. If you want to eat, you can tell me properly. But you cannot throw the bottle. That behavior is wrong.”

Amelia reasoned with her chubby little daughter. Daniel also picked up the bottle, wiped the nipple clean again, and stuffed it back into Nina’s hand.

The moment he let go, Nina sitting on the bed raised her hand again, puffing her cheeks, ready to throw the bottle once more..

This time, Amelia didn’t bother with reasoning.

She said coolly, “Nina, if you throw it again, you’ll get a spanking

Nina’s puffed cheeks deflated. She blinked her big eyes, carefully observing her mother’s expression.

After a few seconds of assessment, she decisively picked up the bottle and started gulping down the formula noisily.

Mommy’s expression was very serious. It looked like she really would spank her!

Nina’s ability to read the situation had Daniel thoroughly amused.

As Daniel exposed Benjamin’s childhood antics, Amelia’s expression grew increasingly complex. So all of Nina’s bad habits… really came from her father!

While they chatted, Nina focused on finishing the entire bottle of milk. She held up the empty bottle for them to see.

Amelia, upon seeing it, kissed her chubby cheek and praised her. “Good, you drank it all clean.”

That night, on Amelia’s insistence, they returned to the Graham Residence to stay. If she remained in the hospital, Nina would fuss to stay too. And in the hospital, Nina wouldn’t sleep well. Nina was afraid of hospitals. After Daniel understood her concern, he didn’t try to persuade her to stay at the hospital

anymore.

They returned to the Graham Residence together.

When they arrived, William was still awake. He couldn’t sleep comfortably nowadays without seeing Nina before bed.

“Dad, why are you still waiting up? Nina fell asleep in the car.” Daniel carried the sleeping Nina. Nina had succumbed to sleep halfway through the car ride, her head lolling to the side.

William leaned in to look at the sleeping child. He carefully touched her chubby little hand and gave it a kiss, before turning his attention to Amelia.

“Amelia, does your wound still hurt?” William already knew about Amelia’s injury that day.

He solemnly told her, “I will pursue the matter of whoever harmed you to the fullest extent!”

Faced with William’s concern, Amelia felt a little embarrassed. She replied softly, “It’s okay. I can handle this matter myself—”

“You’re being distant again!” William looked at her disapprovingly. “You’re injured. You need to focus on recovering well. Leave other matters be.”

Amelia was young. In William’s eyes, she was also one of his own children!

Although William took charge of the matter, the actual execution fell to Daniel. After all, Daniel was more adept at handling matters within the entertainment industry.

Daniel didn’t need his father’s instructions; he already knew what needed to be done.
