No Divorce? The Billionaire's Love Chase! novel Chapter 652

And now this.

Gideon was dropping by her place every other day. It was only a matter of time before her parents found out.

An hour or so later, at Blue Bay.

Darleen used her fingerprint to unlock the door to Peter’s apartment, finding her brother there as well.

She dropped her bag and urgently announced, “I just dropped Claudia off, and you’ll never guess who I saw!”

Peter glanced nonchalantly at York. “Gideon?”

Darleen froze. “How did you know?”

Both Darleen and Peter turned to look at York.

York calmly picked up his wine glass from the coffee table, his expression unreadable.

Darleen asked her brother, “York, are you sure you don’t have feelings for Claudia?”

York lowered his gaze, hiding the true emotion in his eyes.

“We’re childhood friends,” he said dismissively. “It’s nice.”

Peter smoothly changed the subject. “Sweetheart, you spent all day shopping with Claudia. Did you buy anything for me?”

Darleen’s energy returned.

“Let me tell you, Selene’s beauty salon got trashed today! And that niece of hers, she was beaten to a pulp. And can you believe it, she actually hit Marcia Windsor…”

York sat quietly on the sofa, his mind fixated on one thing: Gideon went to see Claudia tonight.

Agitated, York stood up. “You two chat. I’m heading back.”

When York got home, he paced restlessly in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, opening and closing his chat with Claudia every few seconds, but he had no idea what to say.

He tried desperately to restrain himself but couldn’t suppress the irritation welling up inside.

As he closed the chat window, a new post on Gideon’s social media feed seared his eyes.

It was a photo of an ordinary-looking tote bag against a backdrop of silhouetted trees at night.

The caption was a simple two words: Good night.
