Seraphina got up and walked to the guy who had just insulted her. He was busy talking big about how he’d handle her, completely unaware of what was coming. Just as he sensed someone near, he turned, but it was too late.
Without giving him a second to react, Seraphina seized his collar, yanked him up, threw him over her shoulder, and slammed him down onto the ground. His scream cut through the room, silencing everyone.
Without missing a beat, Seraphina stepped over him and headed toward the group of girls who’d been cruelly taunting her with harsh words. She gave them a choice. “Slap yourself twice as a remedy, or I’ll handle it myself.”
“Are you out of your mind?” Alina and her friends blurted, shocked. They wondered, Why would we hit ourselves? We’re not that foolish.
“So? We wouldn’t harm ourselves. What will you do to us?” Juliette Thorne, one of the girls, challenged Seraphina with a scornful glare.
Seraphina didn’t flinch. She struck Juliette Thorne with three quick slaps without any hesitation. Juliette and the others just stood there, dumbfounded. Keeping a firm grip on Juliette’s chin, Seraphina held her steady to keep her from wriggling free.
“So… is this the answer you were looking for?” Seraphina asked, her tone cold.
“You’re nothing but a lowlife! I meant every word!” Juliette hissed, more angry than scared. She had never experienced being humiliated like this, particularly with everyone watching.
Seraphina barely reacted, narrowing her eyes before swiftly dropping Juliette onto the floor. The impact knocked over nearby tables and chairs. Juliette lay still, her face ashen from pain.
Seraphina walked up and looked down at her with a faint smile. “Go on. Say more.”
Seeing Seraphina’s cold attitude, Juliette bit her tongue and glanced aside, too anxious to continue. Seraphina then shifted her attention to Alina and the others. A faint smile hinted on her face, but her eyes conveyed a distinct caution.
No words were needed-everyone understood.
Alina and her friends looked uneasy, clearly afraid of meeting the same fate as Juliette.
“Seraphina, don’t you fear the repercussions of this?” Alina finally asked, trying to delay the situation while hoping a teacher would arrive soon to intervene.

Still, Seraphina’s response was calm. She raised a finger and warned, “I’m giving you three seconds. After that, you’re next.”
She didn’t wait for a reply; she just began counting down.
“One.”
Alina and the others exchanged panicked looks, unsure of their next move.
“Two.”
Their anxiety increased as their eyes darted at the door, silently hoping someone would show up-but no one came.
