“Hmph!” Kelly scoffed. “I’m just worried that you’re scared.”

Seraphina let her gaze sweep across the gathered faces. “What about you guys? Are you scared?”

Though their expressions were brimmed with disdain, the group took their time to sign the agreement. Dora picked up the paper and read through it carefully. Once she was sure there were no loopholes, she placed her signature.

Everyone signed their names, except for Linara.

Seraphina’s smiling eyes landed on her as she tossed the pen to her. “Sign it.”

“I-I…” Linara stammered.

“Don’t force Linara.”

“Linara is respecting you. Be grateful.”

Protecting me? Her sly, underhanded maneuvers had done anything but that.

“I don’t need it.”

Her words ignited a wave of anger around the table.

Even Shane, who had been quietly observing with mild interest, frowned in disapproval.

“Linara, just sign it. Stop defending her.”

Under the collective pressure, she scrawled her name across the paper.

As the last signature was added to the agreement, the students had captured the scene. Within minutes, the footage made its way onto the school’s forum.
