Chapter 74 Collaboration
“Lunatic.” Dora snapped as she stood up, heading for the door.

Seraphina leaned casually against the piano, her hands braced on its edge as her clear gaze followed Dora’s retreating figure. Her voice was calm and steady. “You like Skyler Lane.”
Dora froze mid-step. Turning around, she narrowed her eyes. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“There’s nothing wrong with liking someone. Why won’t you admit it? Is it because Skyler likes Linara that you’re afraid to confess?”
That comment hit Dora squarely where it hurt. Her expression faltered, no longer calm. “Whether I like Skyler or not is none of your business,” she snapped.
“I mean no harm. Actually, I’m here to propose a collaboration.”
Collaboration? Dora’s tone dripped with skepticism. She crossed her arms, glaring. “If you’re planning to use this against me, forget it.”
“Chill. Hear me out,” Seraphina replied, sitting down in one of the chairs and swiveling to face Dora. “Why does Skyler like Linara? Because, in his eyes, Linara is the perfect girl-a goddess. You know better than I do how the boys at school talk about her. If you want Skyler, the best way is to make Linara lose her perfection.”
Dora’s face remained aloof and disdainful, but her hesitation betrayed her. She walked back and sat down across from Seraphina. “You’re trying to use me.”
“I wouldn’t call it ‘using. It’s mutual benefit. After all, we share the same goal, don’t we?”
In her previous life, Dora’s obsession with Skyler had led to disastrous consequences. She had secretly tried to sabotage Linara multiple times, only to fail each time. When her schemes were exposed, Linara’s loyal admirers made Dora’s life a living hell. The Barnes Family cut ties with her to save their reputation, leaving Dora shattered. Unable to cope, she spiraled into madness and ended up in a psychiatric hospital.
“What do you want me to do?” Dora asked cautiously.
“That bet you made-you’ve only fulfilled part of it. There’s still one task left.”
Realization dawned on Dora. “You want Linara to clean the restrooms alone.”
Seraphina nodded. Talking to someone sharp was always a relief-no need to spell everything out.
“She’s desperate to mend her friendship with you all. This is the perfect opportunity. Whether you push for it directly or get someone else to, that’s up to you.”
Seraphina’s fingers danced across the piano keys, and a soothing melody filled the room. Dora watched her in surprise, clearly not expecting her to play so well.
The music drifted beyond the walls, echoing down the hallway.
At the far end of the corridor, a door creaked open. Several tall young men stepped out, led by one
