Penelope was exasperated at Madelyn's concession.

She heaved out a long breath and said, "Do you know what it means if you leave the Music Center? Do you know how many quality students you have? And that many people are eager to snatch them from you?"

Madelyn knew it all.

But what could she do? She could only choke out her apology to Penelope who had provided guidance and help to her during work.

Penelope felt very fretful.

She lit a long female cigarette, looked up at Madelyn after smoking half of the cigarette, and asked, "Madelyn, did you offend anyone?"

Madelyn nodded with a heavy heart.

She knew that Elizabeth wouldn't be able to cause such great trouble to her, and the person behind all this must be Daniel! She was really curious about what other means Daniel would resort to forcing her to submit.

Penelope put out her cigarette. She still thought it a pity and said to Madelyn, "Madelyn, to appease those parents, you can only leave our music center for the time being. I'll hire you back if I get a chance in the future."

Madelyn's face looked so pale when she walked out of Penelope's office.

When she was packing up her things, her colleagues, except for Elizabeth, all pitied her. Elizabeth said in a sarcastic tone, "Madelyn, you should know our rules. You're so bold.
