Madelyn followed Benjamin back to their apartment.

After pondering for a long while, she finally asked, "Did... Did you target the Campbell Group?"

Benjamin paused in his movements. Then he asked casually, "Do you want to put in good words for Daniel?"

"Nah."

Madelyn fiddled with the two bottles of red wine awkwardly.

After staring at her for a while, Benjamin sat down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch the financial news. After a long while, he found Madelyn was still standing on the spot, so he asked blandly, "Are you going to prepare the dinner?"

Madelyn nodded.

When she changed into pajamas, she couldn't help but think to herself, "Maybe Benjamin doesn't have any sexual needs. My current function is to cook, do cleanings, and run some errands for him. I and Claire are taking turns to serve him.'

She hadn't expected that Benjamin was such an abstinent man.

When Madelyn was preparing dinner, Benjamin was also busy with his work. He had answered several calls. When he put down his phone and prepared to take a shower, he noticed that the screen of Madelyn's phone, which was put on the tea table, lit up.

He directly deleted the messages right after that and blacklisted Daniel.

On Daniel's side, he was lost for words when he saw the message.

Madelyn prepared four dishes and a soup, which all had appetizing looks and fragrances. Among them, the spicy crab was her specialty. Those who had tasted it all said it was delicious.

When the dinner was ready, she called Benjamin, yet the latter was still immersed in the financial news and he only stood up lazily as Madelyn called him again. However, his face looked cold.

Madelyn guessed that he was in a bad mood, so she didn't dare to provoke him.
