Yvan, with Matilda in tow, was racing down the street and quickly jumped into the car. Just as he started the engine, he sensed it—a car was tailing them.

"Mr. Boyd, we've got company!" Logan, spotting the pursuit through the rearview mirror, didn't hesitate. "Lose them!"

"I'm not exactly a local guide around Whty City..." Yvan yanked the steering wheel hard, and Logan, from the backseat, asked, "Got a laptop with you?"

Yvan replied, "Yeah, there's one for gaming in the back. I hardly use it, but you..."

Logan grabbed the laptop and then turned to Matilda, saying, "Mom, come here, I want to show you something..."

The moment Matilda leaned in, Logan struck her neck with the side of his hand, knocking her unconscious!

Yvan floored the accelerator and cursed, "Damn, you could actually do that to your own mother?"

"I didn't want her to see this side of me." Logan booted up the laptop and began furiously typing, then made a call to R7CKY.
