AUTHOR'S POV
Silas strolled towards the living room of the huge mansion, where he must be waiting for him.
He had asked Sara about what happened to her in hope that she was going to trust him and then tell him everything but she didn't. She didn't trust him. It was understandable because he had not given her any reasons to trust him either. He was not angry at her but himself for being so stupid. Why did he even say that all he wanted was power and money?
Silas groaned out and stepped inside the huge lavish living room in a trance.
“ Finally. You decided to show up, young man! ” The old soft voice grabbed Silas's attention and he lifted his head to find his Grandfather glaring at him.
This old man's soft voice never matched the cold expressions on his face at all.
“ I was busy. ” Silas yawned out and walked to the couch opposite him, before slumping down on it tiredly.
He couldn't sleep the whole night. He just kept staring at her sleeping face and those hickeys on her neck. It was hard to wash the blood off her hands and body.
“ With what? ” The old man sneered and shook his head. “ Don't tell me you were busy looking after your little wife. She is trouble, I already told you. ”
“ Ofcourse. A husband is supposed to look after his wife and no. She is not trouble. Others are causing her trouble. ” Silas shrugged his shoulders carelessly and leaned forward to grab the glass of orange juice placed on the center table.
“ You promised that you will take over the business once I find her for you. ” The old man reminded Silas of his promise with smug expressions, that made him groan instantly.
“ Grandfather Albert! Please! ” Silas whined and threw his head back.
“ You can't go back on your words now, Silas Alexander! ” Grandfather Albert boomed and his voice resonated in the living room.
“ She is not the same anymore. Maybe you found the wrong woman. ” Silas smirked and faced him again to infuriate him further.
“ She is the girl! ” Grandfather Albert squinted his eyes and put pressure on his walking stick to make himself look dangerous.
Rolling his eyes, Silas sat straight in the couch and prepared himself mentally to convince Grandfather Albert.
“ That bastard Gabriel of GS tried to rape her last night. ” Silas deadpannded, barely managing to utter these words out aloud. His expressions hardened just at the reminder of the incident.
“ Then she saved herself by killing him and you took care of the rest. Story ends here. ” Grandfather Albert spoke in the same neutral tone.
Silas eyed him warily and pursed his lips. He didn't like how his Grandfather took it so lightly.
“ That's where you are wrong, Grandfather. ” Silas pointed out and sipped on his orange juice leisurely.
Grandfather Albert's expressions changed for the very first time. A frown appeared on his wrinkled forehead. He didn't like to be told that he was wrong.
“ Gabriel was poisoned. I ordered an autopsy before covering up everything. ” Silas informed Grandfather Albert, who looked shocked for a moment.
“ So you are saying that Sara didn't kill him? ” He asked as his experienced mind slowly started understanding everything.
” She didn't poison him so obviously she was not the one who killed him. Someone set her up and sent her there on purpose. ” Silas placed the glass of juice down on the table and revealed further.
