AUTHOR'S POV
Stupid. It was so stupid.
Sara cursed internally when she observed Silas's amused expressions. His eyes were shining so bright with humor that Sara felt like slapping him across his face to get rid of those expressions.
“ Don't say it! ” Silas opened his mouth to say something but Sara was quick to shut him down.
Just like she thought. He was already amused that they both were going and they were going alone; together.
“ We are going on honeymoon. Not vacations but honeymoon. It's called honeymoon. ” Even after Sara shut him down harshly, Silas still spoke out setting fire to the blood running in Sara's veins.
Her fuming face was amusing to him. She was looking at him like she was forced to swallow a whole alive chicken and there was nothing more funny than this for Silas.
“ Th-Think whatever you want! ” Sara stammered out getting affected by his piercing eyes and stomped away from there to protect her sanity.
Staying so close to Silas all the time was dangerous.
Silas sighed out when she disappeared in her room and closed the door with a loud bang behind her.
His mind was summing up everything.
First, she called him and said that she wouldn't work on the project. Camelia was going to replace her.
Second. She came home visibly tired and told him that they were going on honeymoon.
He was not so stupid to not understand what was going on here.
Grandfather Magnus had surely called her back but he still played a trick on Sara.
He made Silas sign the contract for Sara and then used her to set Camelia up on the project.
And Sara oh-so selflessly asked the Alexander to do this because she was sure that the man who loved her would never let anyone else take the project.
Sara wanted him to deal with Grandfather Magnus on his own.
But what she didn't know was the fact that Grandfather Magnus was going to kick Sara out again once the Alexander project was secured.
“ The things love makes you do. Tch! ” Silas groaned out and relaxed back on the couch.
Now, what should he do?
Was he supposed to do what Sara wanted or go on this pretend honeymoon with her? He wondered with a smirk playing on his lips.
Or better option...Should he deal with Camelia Lexington?
He pushed himself off the couch deciding on what he was going to do next.
If Grandfather Magnus wanted Camelia Lexington on the project then so be it...He would teach them such a lesson that they would never try to trick Sara again.
But first, he was going to go to the honeymoon with his little angry wife.
**********
Packing her bag and then laying on the bed awake for the whole night was not what Sara was used to. Silas had came to ask her to eat dinner but she had shooed him away.
She was not in the mood for anything.
Anxiety was eating at her guts. As she got some time to think everything through, she realized what kind of mistake she had done.
